This pioneering year of the awards have proved to be extremely successful and has highlighted the exceptional wealth of talent the West Midlands has to offer. Due to this encouraging response Screen WM is inviting the screen media community to help shape the future of the awards.
We want to give the screen media industry in the West Midlands the opportunity to tell us what categories they would like to see in the future media talent awards. The awards, which cover TV, film, radio, games, animation and digital media, are designed to promote the talent in the region, so who’s better to tell us what talent should be recognised and promoted then the individuals and companies involved.

I hope that this event is held again as not only is it a great opportunity to celebrate the wealth of talent that the Midlands has to offer but also a great way to get together to talk about the future of the Creative Industries and the importance of supporting and nurturing regional talent.

For an individual or organisation who has shown great commitment, innovation and passion for supporting the Digital and Screen Media Industry, regionally, nationally and internationally.
Breaking the Boundries Award
For an individual or organisation who have either succeed against all odds, broken down barriers to entry, created innovative product or services, ground breaking projects that have influenced or changed the industry
